Under The Influence is the product of a team of reporters from USC Annenberg News 21 exploring the relationship between special interest funding and public policy.
As part of the Carnegie-Knight Initiative that brings together a dozen prominent universities, News21 aims to leverage the reporting power of the country's most advanced journalism students to shed new light on selected issues of pressing civic importance.
The USC Annenberg News21 team is led by Prof. Patricia Dean and Prof. Marc Cooper with the assistance of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Cohn.
Multimedia production has been overseen by Wendy Chapman, Director of USC Annenberg WebTech and with the assistance of Annenberg alums and working journalists John Adams and Brian Frank. Chris Guitarte and Sasha Konovalova also assisted in web production.
